About This Course
Reproductive Health Nursing III focuses on the health and developmental needs of children and adolescents within the wider context of reproductive and family health. The course covers child growth and development, nutrition and feeding practices, principles of child health care, immunization, common developmental problems, and adolescent health. Students will learn to assess growth and developmental progress, recognize nutritional and developmental concerns, promote disease prevention through vaccination, and provide age-appropriate care and health education. The course also addresses the distinct physical, emotional, social, and reproductive health needs of adolescents, with emphasis on prevention, early intervention, family involvement, and safe nursing practice.
