About This Course
Pharmacology III extends students’ knowledge of medicines by focusing on their safe preparation, administration, monitoring, and application in more complex areas of patient care. The course develops a deeper understanding of drug therapy across selected clinical conditions, with emphasis on therapeutic actions, dosage considerations, adverse effects, interactions, and individual patient responses. Students will connect pharmacological principles with clinical assessment and medication-related decision-making. Particular consideration is given to preventing medication errors, evaluating treatment outcomes, recognizing drug-related complications, educating patients, and maintaining professional accountability throughout the medication management process.
