About This Course
Medical-Surgical Nursing III advances students’ knowledge and clinical competence in caring for patients with complex disorders affecting major body systems. The course focuses on musculoskeletal, metabolic and endocrine, neurological, cardiovascular, and selected inherited or degenerative conditions. Students will examine disease processes, clinical manifestations, diagnostic investigations, treatment approaches, and comprehensive nursing management. Particular attention is given to systematic patient assessment, early recognition of deterioration, prevention of complications, rehabilitation, patient education, and continuity of care. The course strengthens students’ clinical judgement and prepares them to manage changing patient needs safely across medical and surgical care settings.
