Building on earlier medical-surgical nursing concepts, the course examines the assessment, treatment, and nursing management of patients with selected acute and chronic conditions. Students will learn to recognize clinical manifestations, identify priority needs, plan appropriate interventions, monitor responses to treatment, and prevent complications. Attention is given to the nursing process, patient safety, therapeutic care, health education, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary collaboration, preparing students to provide comprehensive and individualized care across medical and surgical settings.
