The course explores how to establish productive learning relationships, identify individual learning needs and agree measurable goals. Participants will examine ways to orient learners to clinical settings, clarify responsibilities and adjust supervision according to demonstrated competence and the demands of the clinical situation. It also addresses role modelling, reflective conversations and timely feedback that helps learners recognise strengths and improve performance. A key focus is assessing development fairly through observation, discussion and documented evidence. Participants will consider how to recognise difficulties early, plan appropriate support and respond to concerns about performance or safety.
